IT IS ABSOLUTELY no secret that shopping for a new pair of jeans is a chore.
From colour to fit to wriggling in and out of them in tiny changing rooms, the whole experience seems specifically designed to get on your wick.
The most annoying thing is finding what you think is a pair that ticks all the boxes, only to discover that they go gappy at the waist or baggy on the legs.
Topshop is attempting to solve that problem a little bit, introducing half sizes in its women’s jeans – there are now four more waist sizes: W25, W27, W29 and W31.
So yep, you are now free to be the size 11 or 13 you truly are. Hallelujah.
If only everyone else would follow suit… and maybe decide to make sizes the same across all brands while they’re at it. Cheers lads.
